Boxelder bugs are named after boxelder tree because they have always been admiring the tree and making it a nice house to gather in colonies. This kind of bugs has a scientific name Boisea Trivittata and hasbecome a major problem that most of people have been looking for the way how to get rid of boxelder bugs permanently. Boxeleder bugs are not damaging and contaminating, but they tend to be the trigger of odor and filth in a certain area in a building. Here are some advices to banish them permanently.

- Using conventional ways. One of the conventional ways on how to get rid of boxelder bugs permanently is removing female boxelder trees from the area near your building. This is because the bugs are merely interested in female boxelder trees. You can tell a female boxelders by identifying and looking at the flowers. Also, the seeds and fruits they bear. - Using Chemical Insecticides. When using chemical insecticides, there is a treatment called perimeter that can be used to send away the bugs. This treatment is formulated in the form of spray that can be applied outside the house and the other areas. Spray the insecticides all over the openings in the building such as doors, windows, garden sheds, attic vents, cellars, basement windows, and garages. It may not banish the bugs effectively and completely, but it is prevention so that the bugs will not get inside the building. This insecticide will trigger a deterioration of their cell membranes, making them dehydrated and dead in a short space of time. To make the spray effective to get rid of boxelder bugs permanently, prepare one or two tablespoon of dish soap.
